Hawaii's #1 Public Course, Top-100 Greatest Public Course

Perhaps the most well known golf course in Hawaii, Kapalua Plantation Course is consistently ranked as the best course in the state. Designed by Ben Crenshaw and Bill Coore, it is the host course of the PGA Tour’s Sentry Tournament of Champions. It provides a challenge to the world’s best golfers, yet the wide fairways and large greens make it very playable for the average golfer. In the winter months, it is common to see humpback whales breaching just off the coast. Truly, this is an experience that should be on every golfer’s bucket list.

Reviews

You have to see this place to believe how beautiful it is. My wife and I flew from Honolulu to Maui to visit family and got to go through this golf course to visit a restaurant there. Incredibly beautiful. I highly recommend stopping next time you're in Maui!
course is kept in immaculate shape along with the driving range and putting greens. Every hole gives you a new and incredible view of the water and neighboring islands. Absolutely 0 complaints and I pray I can play again here someday.
Kapalua's Plantation course is one of the top-rated and finest championship layouts in the Hawaiian Islands. Built around the natural wonders of the West Maui Mountains, awe-inspiring views, dramatic elevation changes and rolling terrain accompany you throughout. Definitely a course that will challenge your all-round game, and well worth going out of your way to play.
