Mauna Lani South Course is home to the prestigious Hawaii State Open, an official PGA Aloha Section tournament. It is a favorite among locals and visitors alike. The course is set up to challenge an avid golfer, and yet be enjoyable for the high handicapper. The challenge is balanced across all skill levels. The balance between land and sea is also evident when you play the South course, and no holes better illustrate this than the signature 7th and 15th holes. Number 7 is a picturesque par 3, wedged between the Pacific Ocean on the left, and a salt-and-pepper sand dune on the right. The par 3, 15 hole demands an accurate shot over the ocean to a peninsula green. It is no wonder that the 15th is one of the most photographed holes in all of golf.

Great course. There's a reason the seniors skins was played there so many times. Can get windy at times.
Absolutely fantastic! Such a beautiful property with lovely grounds. This is my second time coming, and I will return again.
